One-stage (Fork) Pastry

Preparation Time: 10 Minute

Ingredients

5oz Soft Table Margarine
8oz Plain Flour
2 Tablespoons of Water

Method

1. Put the soft margarine with 2 tablespoons of flour and the water in a deep mixing bowl. Cream these ingredients with a fork until well mixed.

2. Still using the fork, work in the remaining flour to form manageable dough.

3. Turn this on to a floured surface and knead lightly until smooth.

4. Chill for 30 minutes.
