Marengo Style Beef

Ingredients
750g Cubed beef
Oil
1 Sliced onion
Crushed garlic
Dried mixed herbs
1 Packet French onion soup
Soup
1 Cup of button mushrooms
1 Handful of sliced celery
1 Can of tomatoes
White wine
Method<
1. Heat a little oil in a deep sided pan on high & fry the onion for 1-2 minutes.
2. Remove and set aside.
3. Brown the meat in batches.
4. Return the browned meat and onion to pan.
5. Add the crushed garlic and a sprinkling of dried mixed herbs, French onion soup, mushrooms and celery. Pour in a can of tomatoes with their juices and white wine.
6. Serve with vegetables.
